LWML - Women's group

OUR PURPOSE To serve the Lord with gladness (Psalm 100:2)

All women of the church are members.  We meet the 2^nd Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the church library.   Bring your lunch and stay for fellowship.

The ladies of Resurrection Lutheran have begun THE MARTHA MINISTRY, with a goal of provind meals, cards, visits, etc. to sut-in members and those recuperating at home. Please call the church office 524-5996 to leave a message for our group for those who are homebound or having surgery.

Past and Present Activities

Calling all "Crafty" Persons - help with craft items being made Wednesday mornings from 9 to 10 AM during Summer Camp 4 Christ. Bring your husbands to help too. Contact Charlotte or church office. 

Quilt Workshop - We get together every Thursday that is not a meeting day at 9:30 a.m. - 12:30.  This workshop welcomes everyone to work on Lutheran World Relief quilts.  We also make Linus blankets and Prayer quilts.

Of the over 378 thousand quilts made by LWML churches were sent around the world to over 742 thousand people in 22 different countries.

Vesper Service - is held with a picnic supper during the summer at a park.

Large Bar Soap - With the congregation, we collect soap to be sent to Lutheran World Relief for distribution to countries in need. 

Tea Party - is held annually on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy food, fun and entertainment.click the tea cup to see pictures of the recent Tea Party  

Military Personnel - We work with the congregation to collect cards and gifts to send to those who are serving our country in the military.

LWML Sunday - is held the first Sunday in October.  The quilts cover the pews and are blessed before they are sent to Lutheran World Relief.  Lutheran Women greet, usher and read in the Worship service.
